I have been painting and drawing from my earliest memories. I can't remember a time when I didn't want to be an artist. I graduated from the Universtiy of North Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and was awarded the 'Most Outstanding Artist' title upon graduation.
Although I work in many different mediums my favorite is pastels. I love the vibrant color that can be achieved. When I was a child I was so in love with color and would get so excited over a new box of crayons, colored pencils, markers, or watercolors. I get equally excited today when I see all of my beautiful pastels laid out and waiting for the next creation. I believe the results that can be achieved with pastels produce some of the most beautiful art ever created.
I find that I mostly paint subject matter that has to do with nature and our beautiful earth. I hope those who view my art will experience my passion for God's creation from my artistic perspective. The joy that I receive from painting is beyond words. I have experienced many different career opportunities in life, but I have always been an artist at heart. I am thankful to God that he has allowed all experiences to enhance my 'life' perspective which I believe makes me a stronger artist. I am living proof of the verse....'All things work together for good to those who love God to them who are the called according to His purpose' Romans 8:28
I feel so blessed to experience such joy through painting, but to share my art with others is equally rewarding. I welcome anyone to contact me with any questions or just to share artistic comments.
